We are so excited to offer a Kids only yoga class, the 9 week block will start on Friday the 15th of Feb & finish Friday the 12th of April, we will be running classes to coincide with school holidays. These classes will take place at the Oakdale Public School hall, starting at 3:40pm and ending at 4:25pm. We are incredibly grateful to have Miss Wendy Ryan as our instructor, Miss Wendy currently teaches a kids yoga class and is certified and registered with Yoga Alliance Australia. Yoga can help teach kids coping mechanisms, how to deal with everyday situations, it teaches Self acceptance, is non competitive, encourages healthy habits & focus, calming techniques, self awareness & supports positive mental health in Children & what I consider most important Namaste: The light in me sees the light in you! It’s all about acceptance & tolerance of others, in practicing yoga kids learn early in life that all living beings are to be cherished & respected as they are, thus helping to create more peaceful communities and ultimately in hopes of a more peaceful, tolerable world.
